A reminder of summer

I have not posted anything for a while but now it dark, gloomy and VERY windy I have time to write rather than paint.  I have found a couple of photos to remind myself of late summer

Not sure about the dark shape in the tree above, or the light tree in the one at Hilton – they will need a tweak some time.   I feel sure there are more opportunities for pictures at Hilton making more of the mix between the large green and the random building!

Hopefully a slight change of tack over the coming months as I have spent the day making up some much larger boards – 24″ x 18″ so I can produce something more substantial.
