Not posted for a while as my camera gave up on me, but I have really been enjoying my painting. I need to get at least fifty completed before my Cambridge Open Studios event in July but that looks achievable. I reckon on average I produce a painting every other day – but only about one in three make it to a frame on the wall. Strangly the busier I am at work the more deterimined I am to get out and paint.
I planned to go to Ely today but as it was predicted to be a really hot one for May in Cambridgeshire, decided on an early start and got there for seven. Completed three by lunch and although all will need a little fiddling with. In the one below maybe sort out some of the branches and leaves, as well as the right hand background. Maybe add some more figures?
