Three go mad in Thetford
Over a recent weekend I agreed to meet up with two other painters in Thetford. There is lots to paint in the town and would it be worth a few more trips. We were out all day and it was very cold – four pairs of socks was order of the day. Couple of paintings below from the selection I completed. Liked the subtle tones of the bridge. The painting of trees looks slightly better in the photo that in the flesh-strange? It will form the basis of two studio paintings, one of treens by a lake, and one of a path going round the large pines. It does not work as one painting. My two friends were watercolourists and I am surprised ice was not a problem.
